For quite some time now, Geoffrey has been asked to build numerous non-wah effects, much like he did in 1996 and 1997. Since he actually builds all his wahs myself, his time is taken up with wah production and he's only been able to turn out a small number of one-offs. However, over the years Geoffrey made good friends with numerous manufacturing companies and have decided to use those friendships to produce a line of stomp box effects. Geoffrey gives them schematics and parts requirements and their engineers and himself go over every last detail. The results are high quality effects built to his expert specifications.

The FK-1 Compressor is the first model in the new FKEfx line. It features case mounted Output and Sensitivity controls, interior Attack control, true-bypass switching, LED status indicator, and an AC adapter jack. Build quality features include plated through-hole double-sided pcb design complete with ground planes and componentry you've come to expect in a quality compressor. The sound is clean and clear with a very low noise floor. The FK-1 has a limited one-year warranty. Made in the USA.

Over time RMC will be releasing a number of different devices. Some will be familiar, some will be new concepts. The bottom line is that they will all be quality units that Geoffrey will be proud to present under the REAL MCCOY CUSTOM name.
