DURA-LIGHT CASE
	Dura-Light touring cases are made of tough, .098" ABS plastic (superior to HDPE and other plastics) thermoformed to shape without wood. While extremely rugged and durable, they are much lighter in weight. Dura-Light cases are especially suited for hand carrying and transit under most normal conditions. They feature many of the same hardware components as the Heavy Duty cases described below.

HEAVY DUTY FLIGHT CASE

Heavy Duty Flight cases are made from an ultra tough ABS and plywood laminate and an aluminum framework. These heavy duty ATA style cases are especially suited for common carrier transit under more severe conditions and provide the maximum protection. These premium cases are at the top of their class.

Case Options:

Standard Model: The popular Standard model offers a slim-line, easy to carry and transport design, while giving your pedals excellent protection.

Accessory Compartment: This option offers the same excellent protection as the standard model plus a compartment below the pedalboard to store other gear.  The bottom of the pedalboard acts as the lid for this compartment.  Both the length and width of your compartment will be 2" smaller than the pedalboard.  You may select the interior depth of the compartment to be 2" through 6" deep.  The exterior height of the case will increase by the amount of your compartment depth.  All cases with this option will have recessed spring loaded handles.

Latches and Options: The Dura-Light cases have the option of the standard pair of locking draw latches (left), 2 recessed twist latches (center), 1 locking and 1 standard recessed twist latch set or both locking recessed twist latches (right). The Heavy-Duty cases have recessed twist latches as standard equipment (center) with the option of the locking recessed twist latches (right). Many cases, especially ones for pedalboards less than 24" long, could get by with only one lockable latch. If your pedalboard is greater than 30" or if you want maximum security, we recommend the 2 lock pair.

Tilt wheels: Around town or around the world, going places will never be easier if you add some wheels. Think of your back! Rugged 3" neoprene TILT-WHEELS are engineered into the case structure. Pushing or pulling your case glides you through the airport or alley with ease. You'll be glad you added this great feature. Tilt-wheels will add about 3" to the overall length of a standard case and 2" overall to a case with the accessory compartment option. The overall height is also raised about 1" by the wheels and bumpers. A standard handle will be installed opposite the wheels. If you have the accessory compartment option, the standard handle will be installed lower on that deeper case design for ease while using the tilt-wheels. If your pedalboard is less than 32", you'll need to have an Extension Handle below. Get rollin' with wheels on your case... and save your back in the process.

Extension handle: The chrome-plated steel EXTENTION HANDLE pulls out and locks into place for easy transporting and slides back inside the case when not in use. You will need to add the Extension Handle if your pedalboard is less than 32" long or you might consider it if you walk long distances with a longer case and want to assure some extra leg clearance. The extension handle is optional for pedalboards 32" or more but we typically do not recommend it for those long cases when the standard handle will do the job. The Extension Handle, if needed or desired, will add about 1" to the length and 1" to the thickness of the case.

Custom Sizes: The online order forms have provisions for selecting a custom size. If the Length and Width (L" x W") from the table above for a Pedalboard and/ or Touring Case does not meet your needs, we can manufacture a custom size to suit you. To determine the correct price of your custom sized item, look at the table above. Find the size where both of their L" and W" is greater than or equal to your custom size. Use that price for the corresponding item and order that size online. Fill in the info on the form regarding the actual size you want. Examples: A 29"x13" custom size is the same price as a 32"x16". A 25"x12" custom size is the same price as a 32"x12".

Weights:  All itemized net weights listed here are in approximate US pounds and are for reference to calculate your total weight.  You will need to  add the weight of all remaining items you will transport.
