We engineer some of the best racks available to suit your individual needs! E-Z Shock vs. Heavy-Duty : Both of these cases actually use a heavy duty rack design. The main difference in choosing between the EZ Shock and the Heavy Duty shockmount racks is the weight of the gear you are putting inside to get a desirable shock absorption ratio. Please read the descriptions of each to make an informed decision and properly protect your equipment. We also design Super-Duty shockmount racks for extremely large and heavy configurations suited mostly for the sound reinforcement industry and other commercial applications. Please submit your specifications to obtain additional information. E-Z SHOCK RACKMOUNT CASES The E-Z Shock Rackmount Cases are all custom designed for your specific needs providing a durable and protective encasement for your music gear. The outer shell of this case is manufactured to the Heavy-Duty, ATA Style, specifications of our Pedalboard Cases and the inner rack is isolated from the outer shell by shock absorbing rubber motor mounts. This case is suitable for most mid-weight rackmount gear (sound processors, modules, some lighter amplifiers, etc). HEAVY DUTY SHOCK RACKMOUNT CASES The Heavy Duty Shock Rackmount Cases are also custom designed for your specific needs providing a durable and protective encasement for your music gear. The outer shell of this case is manufactured to the Heavy-Duty, ATA Style, specifications of our Pedalboard Cases and the inner rack is isolated from the outer shell by a combination of foam and shock absorbing Heavy-Duty rubber motor mounts. This case is suitable for heavyweight rackmount gear (primarily large amplifiers). Options for all Rack Cases SAVE YOUR BACK WITH WHEELS! All racks have the option to have casters. All caster board sets are for heavy use under rough conditions. The premium caster sets have heavy-duty swivel casters with either 3-1/2" or 4" polyurethane wheels and ball bearings, bolted to a 3/4" birch caster board painted black and then bolted to the rack case. 3-1/2" caster board set (pictured above), 95.95; 4" caster board set (not pictured), $105.95; 4" locking caster board set (not pictured), $115.95.
KEYLOCK RECESSED LATCHES Keep your gear secure with this option. There are 2 latches on each lid (4 total) on racks with 3 to 5 spaces. There are 4 latches on each lid (8 total) on racks with 6 to 20 spaces. If you order 1 set of 4 key lock latches for a 6 to 20 space rack, we will put 1 key lock latch on top and one on the opposite bottom (staggered) for each lid. You may order 2 sets for 6 to 20 space racks if you feel the need for the extra security. Generally one set is sufficient
RACKMOUNT CASE SPECIFICATIONS Our rackmount cases are made from an ultra tough ABS and plywood laminate and an aluminum framework. These heavy-duty ATA style cases are especially suited for common carrier transit under more severe conditions and provide the maximum protection. These premium cases are at the top of their class.
