Stompin-Ground wah wah pedal mounting plate - Teese Vox Budda Dunlop Crybaby and others - Click to enlarge

Here is the easiest way to mount your Wah! If you use a wah or other pedal that has the outer enclosure designed like the Dunlop Cry Baby, including Budda, Vox, RMC or other wah's, we offer handy replacement backing plates for them.

The "hook" material is already on the bottom to easily attach to your pedalboard. Just use the original back plate and screws from your wah but store the rubber feet away for safe keeping. You will install both the original back plate and the new mounting plate. The original back plate will be sandwiched between the wah and the new mounting plate. This will provide shielding and insure that RFI/EMI (interference) will not be an issue.

The top picture to the left shows an RMC wah with a mounting plate installed on it's bottom and another mounting plate leaning against the wah. The lower picture shows a top view of a VOX wah with a mounting plate installed and another uninstalled.

Quick reference:

MP-1 : Fits many - Most RMC, Vox, Dunlop, Budda, more...
MP-2 : Some 60's-70's Italian wahs
MP-3 : Some odd RMC's
MP-4 : Blank, like MP-1 but no Velcro.
MP-5 : Some Dunlop 535's, bottom controls.
MP-6 : 2006 and later RMC's
MP-00 : Moollon wahs

Choose your model...

MP-1
Most popular - Fits 95% of the wahs including most Dunlop, Vox, Budda, 2005 and older RMC's, and others of that exterior design.  Fits older model Pigtronix EP-1 expression pedal that has the "Dunlop" style case but not the Pigtronix VP-26U or the similar Moog EP-1.  $18.95

Exceptions... does not fit:
• RMC's built after July, 2006.  See MP-6 below.
• Some RMC1 and 3 wahs from late 2000 to early '01. See MP-3 below.
• Some 60's and '70's era Italian made wahs. See MP-2 below.
• Some Dunlop 535Q's with the controls on the bottom. See MP-5 below.

Note: RMC's that fit the MP-1 will have vertical lines running toe to heel on the rubber foot treadle pad and marked "instrument" on the right and "amplifier" on the left.  The DC power jack is also on the right/input side.

MP-2
Fits some 1960’s and '70's era Italian wahs for Vox, Jen Crybaby and Thomas Organ. Certain models made in Italy use a slightly different hole pattern. $18.95

To determine if this fits yours...
Remove the bottom plate and accurately measure the distance from the center of the top screw hole to the center of the bottom screw hole (along the same side). This should be 8-1/16" (8.062") for this mounting plate.
SEE diagram for more details.

The standard MP-1 listed above is 7-15/16" (7.938") so they are very close. Measure very carefully, center to center.

MP-3
There are a few RMC1 and RMC3 wahs from late 2000 to early 2001 that use a different type case instead of the standard Dunlop type. $18.95

These wahs have the following features: The top rubber pad is smooth foam (no lines), has a lightweight unpainted aluminum body with a white to copper looking sandblasted finish and the base plate is heavier with a slight gold tone appearance.

MP-4
Blank, without the "Hook" material so you can apply your own.  The hole pattern is like the MP-1 however you can request other models.  $18.95

MP-5
For Dunlop 535Q's with the "Q" control on the bottom. This mounting plate has access holes for the rotary controls. $21.95

MP-6
Fits all newer RMC's that were built after July, 2006.  These are distinguished by two features.  #1: The rubber foot treadle pad has no words on it and the lines run horizontally, right to left... and #2: The DC power jack is on the left/output side. $18.95

MP-00
Fits Moollon wah pedals. $21.95
