Here is the easiest way to mount your Wah! If you use a wah or other pedal that has the outer enclosure designed like the Dunlop Cry Baby, Budda, Vox, RMC or other wah's, we offer handy replacement backing plates for them. The "hook" material is already on the bottom to easily attach to your pedalboard. Just use the original back plate and screws from your wah but store the rubber feet away for safe keeping. You will install both the original back plate and the new mounting plate. The original back plate will be sandwiched between the wah and the new mounting plate. This will provide shielding and insure that RFI/EMI (interference) will not be an issue. The top picture to the left shows an RMC wah with a mounting plate installed on it's bottom and another mounting plate leaning against the wah. The lower picture shows a top view of a VOX wah with a mounting plate installed and another uninstalled. Quick reference: MP-1 : Vox, Dunlop, Budda, most pre-2006
RMC's, pre-Nov 2009 Area 51 & more... |
