Angled: Angled pedal boards are constructed differently using 1/2" plywood and require added cost.  If you need an angled pedalboard, choose the height that the pedal board needs to be raised from the back edge.  This height is from the floor to the bottom of the pedalboard as if tilting (raising) the back edge toward you on stage creating an angle or wedge shape.

Plank: Made from the same material as the angled board however it sits flat and does not have the "leg" that tilts the board at an angle. This might be desired if the pedalboard will be used off the floor such as on a keyboard stand or if the user will do further construction on the pedalboard and just wants a thicker substrate on which to build.

Important note when ordering a case: If you select to get an angled pedal board and you are also ordering a case , you must add the Accessory Compartment option.  Select the depth to be at least as much as the height you raised the pedalboard.  Example: If you raised your pedal board 3" then you must add a 3" or greater accessory compartment.  If you don't order the accessory compartment, your angled pedalboard will not fit in the case.

Note about viewing photo below:  Angled pedalboards consist of 2 main pieces, the top pedalboard surface and the footing brace.  The photo below has a shadow on the near side, underneath the pedalboard.  This may appear like a side wall at a glance however the sides are open.  This photo represents the angled pedalboard we made in the past and gives you the basic idea however there may be minor design changes that could somewhat alter the appearance but never the quality or functionality.
